Our Mission
Metro Academic Studies partners with homeschooling families to provide excellent academic programs that equip students to think critically, discern truth, and live faithfully from a Biblical worldview.
Our History
Metro Academic Studies began in 2012 with ten instructors and 50 students. Since then, it has grown into a thriving community of more than 30 instructors and 150 students from across the metro Atlanta area.
Over the years, MAS has expanded its academic and extracurricular offerings to include core classes, electives, foreign languages, Classical Art, Speech and Debate, Critical Thinking, Drama Club, Beta Club, and student government. Hundreds of students have grown through these programs, and MAS has celebrated many graduates along the way.
Through every season of growth, MAS has remained committed to helping students develop academically, spiritually, and socially. We are grateful for God’s continued blessing on our students, families, instructors, and staff.
Our Impact
Statement of Faith
The Bible is inspired by God and is the only infallible Word of God.
There is one God who exists eternally as three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is fully divine; He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died as the atoning sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return in power and glory.
Salvation requires spiritual rebirth through the work of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit lives in believers and empowers them to live godly lives.
All believers in Christ share a spiritual unity.
Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected: the saved to eternal life and the lost to judgment.
