Jodette pursued art early in life by drawing everything she could get her hands on. After graduating from high school, she discovered a passion inside to take drawing and painting further by advanced studies in college. She has created her own original works of art which are sold through commissions, boutiques, and art shows in Atlanta. She has also designed characters in a children's card

Thousands of adults and children have gone through the art program using a unique design called Touchpoint drawing which teaches principles using master concepts and applying them in today's art. Many students have gone through the program who have won awards in local, regional, state, and national art competitions. This is a progressive program created for the purpose to equip students with tools to reach higher levels in art. In 2010, Jodette opened her own non-profit 501c3 organization "Art With a Mission, Inc." Through this non-profit business, along with her husband, she reaches out to help orphans and needy families through art fundraising.
