Sara Lagos-Hall holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University, with concentrations in counseling, religion, and English, as well as a minor in writing. She has also completed 15 graduate credits in rhetoric and composition. Born in Honduras, Sara moved to the United States just before the start of middle school. Spanish is her native language and remains her primary means of communication, especially during her ten years living in the vibrant, multicultural city of Miami. In 1996, she relocated to Georgia, where she has continued her work in education and ministry.

With over twenty years of teaching experience, Sara has taught Spanish, English grammar, literature, and writing across a variety of settings, including church ministries, private schools, and homeschool co-ops. She currently serves as an English and Spanish Master, classroom teacher, and course developer at the Homeschool Legal Defense Online Academy (HSLDA). Her passion for language and communication is also reflected in her academic pursuits; she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in biblical counseling and theology at Westminster Theological Seminary.

A dedicated home educator and mother whose children have already graduated from college and are now pursuing graduate studies, Sara is committed to inspiring her students to embrace bilingualism. She believes that language is a powerful tool in fulfilling the Great Commission: "to go and make disciples of all nations."
