Metro Academic Studies offers à la carte classes Mondays and Wednesdays to 6th-12th grade home-educated students. Classes are led by qualified, experienced instructors teaching within a Christian worldview. Students are engaged, challenged, and encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning as disciplines and skills are sharpened in the logic and rhetoric phases — the middle and high school years.
We exist to equip students to be academically astute and engage the culture with a Christian worldview.
We accomplish this by partnering with families who home educate and by providing excellent academic and elective classes based on a Christian worldview.
What We Offer
Most classes meet once a week on Mondays and/or Wednesdays for 1½ hours, between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm for middle and high school students (6th-12th grades). Study hall is available between classes. Students may bring lunch and eat together at 12:15 p.m. in the lunch room.
Students work on their assignments at home for the remainder of the week and communicate with their teachers via email and other means.
