“You cannot fool God, so don’t make a fool of yourself! You will harvest what you plant. If you follow your selfish desires, you will harvest destruction, but if you follow the Spirit, you will harvest eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8 (CEV)

“Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack.” 1 Peter 5:8 (CEV)

“A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so that everyone would have eternal life, and have it in its fullest.” John 10:10 (CEV)

God’s word is clear: as his chosen children in the building of his Kingdom and spreading of the Gospel, we are called to be good stewards, watchful and disciplined in all areas of life. Our rapidly evolving digital age has created an entirely new world of interactions, opportunities, distractions, and temptations, and our young people are often ahead of us in grappling with these new realities. As the research continues to bear out, our online habits have serious and long-lasting consequences on our behavior, relationships, and worldview. Are your children equipped to engage with technology - the good and the bad - as biblically-rooted stewards of God and his Kingdom? Are you?

In Biblical Digital Citizenship, your 6-8 grader will be shepherded through nine weeks of intentional, biblical lessons on how we can approach technology with the right combination of confidence, humility, and obedience that will bring both glory to God and guard our hearts. Each session will focus on a specific topic - introduced in a video - followed by discussion and activities to deepen our awareness and take practical steps regarding our roles as citizens of the digital world.

Format: 10 weekly, 1-hour sessions (1 Parent meeting followed by 9 Student sessions), covering the following lessons:
