Health (FALL) Public Performance (SPRING)

During this one semester, 14-week, graduation requirement course, students will learn first aid, nutrition, mental and spiritual health, substance abuse prevention, disease prevention, and environmental health. Students are encouraged to set personal fitness, nutrition and activity goals to develop the kind of healthy habits that will last a lifetime. The overall goal of this course is for students to learn about a wide variety of health topics. This course unapologetically presents a Biblical view of healthy living.

Tuition: $260/semester or $70 a month; $45 supply fee. $5 per week late fee.

APSP (Acting/Public Speaking and Performance Class) 

Oral Presentations or Speeches or Auditions or Acting or Musical Performance

Life is full of public speaking.  It is almost impossible to get away from the need to talk in front of others!  If that terrifies you, you need this class!  Or if you love to be in front of others, if you are a performer of any kind, you can always improve your performance!  This one semester course is designed for anyone who wishes to improve their public performance in acting, singing, speech making or any type of public presentation. Each student will be able to choose their study track. Those who wish to study acting and auditions and/or singing performance will be coached in small scene performance and monologue, both rehearsed and extemporaneous. Those who wish to improve their public speaking and or debating skills will be coached in speech presentation, both prepared and extemporaneous. (Musicians, please note the instructor will not be coaching musicianship but will focus on presentation only.). Improvisation will be one of the many techniques used to teach relaxation and stage deportment.

Minimum enrollment 5 students 

$300 for the semester or $70 a month (January through May ):  $25  supply fee.  $5 per week late fee.
