Literature for Middle School
Students will dive into rich and relevant literature while learning how authors use literary terms and devices to make their writing come to life. We will read a variety of literature including novels, short stories, and poetry. Students will be taught how to craft a literary analysis or literary response in clear and guided steps. This class pairs beautifully with the Grammar and Composition class for 6th or 7th graders to create a complete language arts block. Students should expect to spend 4 hours a week on homework.
