With more than 500 million people worldwide speaking Spanish as their first language and fifty million of those native speakers living in the United States, the ability to speak Spanish has become a life skill.
Taught in the target language with English clarification when necessary, this multi sensory, high energy class emphasizes the practicality of real-life communication within the framework of language study to produce a writer, reader, listener, and speaker of proper Spanish. Activities include reading, online work, games, songs, skits, and storytelling. Since the purpose of language learning is to understand others, we also will study culture.
This course is designed to be completed over five days each week: one day of class attendance and participation and four separate days of homework.
