Writing Lab
Who is this class for? This is a support-based course for all middle and high school students seeking additional help, not a full writing curriculum. Students should come prepared with assignments, questions, or areas they want help with. This supplemental writing course is designed to support middle school students to succeed in a class they’re already taking (Literature, History, Writing) that requires weekly or monthly writing assignments. We will focus on basic writing concepts such as parts of speech, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, paragraph building, essay writing, creative writing, and more. Please encourage your child to come to class with questions or homework to work on. Think of this hour and a half as an opportunity to get your child help on a writing problem or issue they are struggling with. Students may register by the semester, by the month, or drop in. Tuition: $225/semester, $65/month, or $20 per drop-in (Does not include MAS registration fees.) 5 students minimum - 15 maximum |
