Adulting 102 (SPRING)
Grounded in a Christian worldview, this class will help students view adulthood not merely as independence, but an opportunity to enjoy a life marked by responsibility, stewardship, and service. Living with wisdom & integrity! This will be a fun & worthwhile class with discussions, hands-on cooking skills, guest speakers, fun homework tasks, and a thoughtfully curated booklist… coming soon! Topics include: home economics, time and task management, phone and social etiquette, interview skills, and decision-making. Emphasis is placed on cultivating sustainable habits, honoring commitments, and approaching daily work as dignified and meaningful. By the end of the course, students should be able to demonstrate increased competence, and have confidence, and clarity in managing adult responsibilities. They will learn valuable skills, and have a clear understanding of why these responsibilities matter within family, community, and faith.
