Visual Storytelling 2: Comics


In Vis 2, students will build on Vis 1 by learning the industry terms and process to take a comic from idea to realization. This course will take the students through the process of creating a unique character design, an original story idea, and the creation of a multipage comic book. Students will leave the course with the ability to design their own characters, make their own comics, and tell their own stories. 

Students will learn new, unique techniques in the following:

  • Thumb-nailing
  • Penciling
  • Inking
  • Lettering
  • Book Binding

Visual Storytelling 1 is a recommended prerequisite, but not required.
