Welcome to METRO PLAYERS and the art of acting! This course is designed to explore, expand, and refine each student’s natural gifts in the art of acting. The class provides structured, disciplined training in:

  • Vocal technique (clarity, projection, variety, expression)
  • Relaxation and breath control
  • Physical awareness and purposeful movement
  • Complex and thoughtful character development

Students are challenged to grow not only in performance skill, but also in confidence, discipline, collaboration, and artistic integrity.

The course emphasizes the responsibility of artists to uphold and reflect Biblical truth while participating in and supporting the arts within our culture. Students are expected to conduct themselves with respect, encouragement, maturity, and professionalism at all times. Scripts will be adjusted if necessary to ensure appropriate content.  Metro Players is committed to excellence in craft, integrity in content, and the development of disciplined young artists.
