Visual Storytelling 1: Character Design

 

In Vis 1 Students will learn the foundation of excellent storytelling, character design. This course will establish the fundamentals of design and drawing needed to tell compelling stories, in Comics, Illustration, Film, and Animation. Students will leave the course having designed several original characters and with the ability to design compelling characters for a variety of media.

 

Students will learn the following techniques:

-Elements of Art

-Principles of Art

-Silhouette

-Shape Theory

-The 7 Folds

-Inking

 

*There are no prerequisites for this class, all drawing levels welcome.*

 

Tuition: $95/Month for 9 months

 

Yearly Art supply Fee = $80
