Geometry
This course will cover the topics normally covered in a high school geometry course. This course is normally taken by students in grade nine or ten. Students should have completed Algebra 1 before enrolling in Geometry. A detailed course outline is shown below. Complete details here: Geometry Students will need copies of the Student Workbooks, either printed from www.lulu.com (search Derek Owens Geometry) or printed locally from pdf files available after registration. They will also need a scientific calculator and a good set of geometry tools, such as those found here: toolkit Finally, the workbooks currently depend on an additional textbook for extra practice problems. Students will need a copy of Harold Jacobs's Geometry textbook (3rd edition.) There are a number of copies available for loan upon request.
