During this one semester, 14-week, graduation requirement course, students will study nutrition, mental, spiritual and physical health, substance abuse prevention, disease prevention, and environmental health. Frank discussion of social pressures and peer issues will be significant. The overall goal of this course is for students to learn about a wide variety of physical and mental health topics, addressing the four realities of self, other, spiritual, and context. This course unapologetically presents a Biblical view of healthy living.  (Many healthy snacks are provided at times during the semester.)

Mrs. Meyer is also offering an optional PE credit.  Students will receive weekly PE assignments to be completed and logged into a journal at home which will be signed by the parent.  This will be structured to fulfill the PE credit required for graduation.  The PE credit is an additional $75 total.
