History of Middle Ages
This class is appropriate for all middle school students. Using the book, The Middle Ages by Dorothy Mills, as our guide, students will discover this important era in history which includes: Vikings, and villains, castles and crusades, samurai and shoguns, Dante and Chaucer. Students will have the opportunity to improve their geography, expand their communication and writing skills all while learning history. Students should expect to spend 3- 4 hours a week on homework for this class. Parents are expected to check homework with a provided answer key and are expected to help their student throughout the year to develop good study skills and habits. There is no diagnostic test needed for entry.
