Classical Art (W10:40)
THIS ART CLASS IS THE SAME AS MONDAY CLASS AT 10:45am-12:15pm. IN THIS STUDY YOU WILL BE AMAZED BY THE GROWTH OF DRAWING SKILLS! Studies are designed to improve skill levels starting at current level of ability and progressing to reach higher levels. Creating art is fun, beautiful, and builds confidence, for all levels of students. Learn layering techniques using pencils, pens, charcoal, colored pencils & paint. Our Touchpoint drawing method is a specifically designed system for drawing that develops great skills for students to draw with proportion and accuracy. Shading is a component of drawing where students practice shading skills that creates three dimensional art. Students will have great works of art for competitions, to build a portfolio, or to hang on wall. They never repeat images used to create works of art. Students sculpture in clay or a paper mâché by creating a three dimensional work of art. Art Competition: During the second semester all enrolled art students may participate in art show during second semester with possibility of winning awards. Congratulations to all MAS students who participated in previous art competitions and those won awards. All exercises are building blocks to prepare students for future career possibilities in design, graphic arts, and building a portfolio.
