The Biology class provides a detailed introduction to the methods, concepts, and vocabulary of general biology. Topics covered include biological classification, cell biology, Mendelian genetics, tour of the five kingdoms of living things, cellular reproduction and DNA, viruses, and human anatomy/physiology.  Laboratory sessions include extensive microscope work, dissections, model work, live invertebrate animal labs, biochemistry labs, and many other kinds of labs.  Students will gain an appreciation for the amazing diversity of life on earth and of the tremendous ingenuity of the Creator. The biology class is structured and well managed. Instruction is engaging and inspiring. Learning is accomplished in a fun way. Each class consists of one hour of instruction and one hour of laboratory work/activity.

Students should expect up to 4 hours of work completed at home each week.

Tuition:  $70/month for 9 months. Payments are September through May.

Lab Fee $130/one time payment. Due in August.

Students are allowed to eat lunch in class.

Minimum Age: 13 by August 1st.

Winter Break Week in February will be a virtual week for Biology. There will be a recorded class to watch and a regular week's assignments. If you are in town or out of town, the recorded class will be available on YouTube.
