Geometry
This course will cover the topics normally covered in a high school geometry course. This course is normally taken by students in grade nine or ten. Students should have completed Algebra 1 before enrolling in Geometry. A detailed course outline is shown below. Students will need copies of the Student Workbooks, either printed from www.lulu.com (search Derek Owens Geometry) or printed locally from pdf files available after registration. They will also need a scientific calculator and a good set of geometry tools, such as those found here: toolkit Finally,
the workbooks currently depend on an additional textbook for extra
practice problems. Students will need a copy of Harold Jacobs's
Geometry textbook (3rd edition.) There are a number of copies available
for loan upon request. Details about the textbook can be found here: textbook Tuition for the class is $400 per semester, due 9/1/2020 and 1/11/2021. Please pay Mrs. Bandy directly via check, PayPal, or Venmo. Do not use the
