“Infusion” (Bible Course)
Recommended Grades: 8-12 “Infusion” is a two-year bible course that grew out of the need to address the rising levels of biblical illiteracy in our day. For the majority of Christians, their knowledge of the bible has developed randomly by way of a variety of exposures through church, Sunday School, personal devotions, bible studies, and media programs on TV, radio, and/or the internet. This non-systematic approach leaves gaps in the foundation of one’s faith, so that the protective wall of truth has large openings for the enemy to exploit destructively. Closing these gaps through a systematic consideration of the scripture dramatically strengthens the health and vitality of personal faith. Infusion is broken down into three segments which center around three crucial questions: What is Christianity and Why Should I believe It? How Do I Connect all the Dots of the Christian Faith? How Do I Anchor Myself to God? The course is structured to address the heart of the learner more than the head and places particular focus on one’s relationship with God. It is based upon a ministry model of the last century that over time impacted a multitude of lives, not only introducing many to the Lord but also equipping them to go on to kingdom impact worldwide. The course will be taught by Dr. James Saxon, a member of The Church of The Apostles pastoral staff. A topical overview is available upon request. Please contact Dr. Saxon with any questions at jsaxon@apostles.org or 404-591-1981 during office hours. Tuition: $45/month |
