Are you R.E.A.D.Y?

We believe loving ourselves and others happens naturally and effectively. But what happens when this does not occur organically in our lives? Or in healthy ways. How do we understand approaching not only interpersonal relationships but also intrapersonal relationship?

This class will explore relationship and individual development. We will focus on the stages of human development, studying extensively on adolescent development. We will discuss identity development and how it informs our relationships. 

This course will focus on the following topics: 

  • Individual Development – Physically, Cognitively, & Socially 
  • Social skills
  • Communication skills 
  • Conflict resolution skills 
  • Problem solving 
  • Healthy relationships vs. Unhealthy Relationships 

Classes time will center around discussions and lectures. There will be work required at home, such as tests, some research projects, and activities. This class meets once a week for 1 1/2 hours.

Textbook:  will be available through Dr. Gadson 

Tuition: $90/month 

Fees:  $50 copies and materials 

Class minimum:  8 students (class maximum – 16)
