Early in life, Jodette pursued art by drawing everything she could get her hands on. After graduating from high school, she discovered a passion inside herself that needed to be unleashed and later attended Oglethorpe University to pursue her dreams in art. During this
time as an artist, she
created her own original characters and designed a children's card
collection. While still pursuing art, she met her husband Chris DiDomizio, who has been the owner/operator of their own successful and professional art school in Atlanta since 1996, DiDomizio's Old World Art, Inc. For fifteen years Chris and Jodette have designed their own classical art program by extracting old masters principles and using them to teach the elements of art to adults and children. Jodette is an Artist, Art Teacher and Director of the Children's Art Program for ages six through thirteen along with four other art instructors. The Children's Art Program teaches homeschoolers and after school kids in the art studio and at Metro Academic Studies. This is a progressive program created for the purpose of using the same art principles as the adult program. These principles are precisely broken down into simple forms for younger ages to grasp the concepts of classical art for the purpose of helping others to reach higher levels of art abilities. In 2010, Jodette opened her own non-profit 501c3 organization "Art With a Mission, Inc." Through this non-profit business, along with her husband, she is capable of reaching out by helping orphans and needy families through are fundraising. She feels truly blessed to be a part of touching the lives of others through her gifts and calling as God expands her boundaries in art.
