Sports Fitness is a physical education class based on the premise of getting active and maintaining a healthy physical lifestyle. Even if you are not an “athletic” person, there still has to be some form of physical activity to keep the cardiovascular, muscular and mental components healthy. Sports Fitness is that activity! Sports Fitness will be offered to all students of MAS and the idea is to keep relative grades and ages together. In this class the focus will be on flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance. Classes will offer a variety of workouts ranging from calisthenics and stretching to balance and even some yoga movements!
Minimum class size will be 5 and maximum will be about 20.
